Midnight Patch 12.1.5 Overview

Midnight Patch 12.1.5 New Raid: The Unbinding of Kith’ix
Midnight Patch 12.1.5 introduced a new single-boss raid, the Unbinding of Kith’ix. The instance is designed for 10–30 players and features a DPS check and crowd-control mechanics. The raid entrance is located beneath the Vaults of Ula-tek and is accessible to all level 90 players, with no item level restrictions.
The Unbinding of Kith’ix features 12 unique items in its loot pool, including housing decor and a hearthstone. You can view the full list of gear in the Wowhead database. In addition to gear, you can earn up to six achievements in the single-boss encounter by winning on various difficulty levels, whether in a standard group or as part of a guild. These achievements do not grant unique titles or mounts, only a certain number of achievement points.
Midnight Patch 12.1.5 New Delve Mode: Labyrinths
One of the new features in Midnight: The Promise of Tomorrow, which may also appear in future patches, is a new type of delve known as the Labyrinth. These instances consist of various randomly generated branches and corridors; they are optional and contain Heavy Trunks and Bountiful Coffers.
The new delve’s main nemesis is Kindo’jan; defeating him at Tier 8+ grants one point of progress toward the Great Vault. To unlock higher Labyrinths’ Delve tiers, you must clear all nine chambers of the instance and defeat the boss. At the time of writing, it is not yet known whether the Delve rewards include any unique equipment; however, unique titles, cosmetics, and a mount have been revealed, all of which we will cover in the article below. Midnight Patch 12.1.5 New World Event: Aqir Invasions
Aqir Invasions serve as a major event for easily catching up in Midnight Patch 12.1.5. This is a multi-stage world event. First, players complete small objectives scattered across the zone to fill a progress bar. Once the timer expires, the final phase, a boss battle, begins; upon defeating the boss, players receive a loot box with rewards scaled to how much of the progress bar they filled.
The event rewards include gear up to approximately the Champion tier, making it a great choice if you are just getting started with the expansion or looking to gear up your alts. The event takes 10 minutes and runs every hour. You can also earn reputation with the Aqir Research Enclave faction by completing the public event; reaching specific reputation levels will unlock some rewards for purchase.

In Midnight: The Promise of Tomorrow, you can earn a vast number of achievements, titles, and cosmetic rewards. Some of the listed rewards are relatively easy to obtain; the process simply requires some time. Midnight Patch 12.1.5 Cantrip Items
Certain Cantrip items have been reintroduced in the Midnight Patch 12.1.5. Cantrip items are pieces of gear that feature special-effect procs or passive effects. Ascendant Venomstones in Midnight Patch 12.1.5
Ascendant Venomstones, needed for gear upgrades, are introduced in the Midnight Patch 12.1.5. They work similar to Ascendant Voidcores and help you achieve additional item levels of fully upgraded Hero, Myth, or Tidal Crafted gear for additional item level. At the time of writing, Venomstones have no cap and can be obtained with a 100% drop rate from the following activities:
- Heroic and Mythic raid bosses;
- Mythic+ at +10 or higher;
- Tier 11 Bountiful Delves;
- The first 2 Nightmare-difficulty Prey per week.
In total, a single upgrade requires 10 Ascendant Venomstones. Additionally, the primary requirement is a fully upgraded Hero- or Myth-track item, and the crafted item must be of the highest orange quality.
